??? TOSLINK-in on computer?

I have both an Audigy 2 ZS and an onboard RealTek ALC850 (optical and coaxial digital-in) soundcard, and I'm trying to find a way to cheaply connect a TOSLINK optical digital 5.1 audio cable (output from an X2VGA+) to my computer, for playing over my analog 5.1 speakers. What options do I have available? Is there an add-on card that connects to the header on my Audigy2 card? Or is there an adapter to connect an optical cable to a CD-digital connector? Or is it possible to use the optical port from my Realtek as an optical-in, instead of an optical-out?

Thanks!

Impossible to use the optical port from my Realtek as an optical-in, instead of an optical-out.

onboard RealTek ALC850 isn't needed. And you have to buy platinum box for your Audigy2(it gots optical-in), or you can buy optical-in jack in electron shop and DIY to A2 by the thread:

Creative's US shop doesn't sell the drive bay, unfortunately .
I'd consider that other solution, but I don't have a soldering iron (and even if I did, I wouldn't know how to properly use it) or know much about electronics . I'd be willing to pay if someone else wanted to make it for me, though...
That Hoontech add-on card looks like almost the ideal solution, but it appears (not sure) to just support the Live! and Audigy 1 .

The PIN assignments of A1, A2, and A2ZS are almost some. You may use any 1 kind of bracket of Audigy series to add on your card.

So the Hoontech bracket for the Audigy 1 should work on my Audigy 2 ZS?

I haven't used this bracket, but it accord with the pin assignment. theoretically it works with your sound card.

System Specs

you will need to build a custom cable, using the pinouts in the thread referred to before
