No rear channel sblive 5.1 0102

I have a sblive 5.1 0102. Just bought some zalmans and realized that there was no rear audio. I of course have windows/mixer settings on 5.1, I the rear plug set in the black hole, the front in the green, and the center in the digital. Funny thing is, when I do the sound test it only plays the rear sound files with the rear plug in, but it stillcomes out of the front channel. I also tried the kX drivers, yielding the same problem. I really need some help on this!! Urge to step on sound card....
