Crack and Pop Audigy ZS THX 7.1 Soundcard FARCRY HELP

Only drivers i have update to are :

EAX 4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Update Date 19 Nov 2003

then finaly

EAX 4.0 ADVANCED HD Driver Patch Update Date 29 Mar 2004

This is the latest driver now when i play FARCRY this happens aswell on some other games.

on the menu in farcry or playing
the sound CRACKS like split secont pop and crackles

dont understand what is going on i know for a fact i think its to do with CREATIVES CRAP UPDATES.
becuse this in the past didnt happen but for the past 2 weeks it has been happning.

i need help

BTW the crackles and poping sounds only happen in games does not happen in awindows enviroment.

dont know what is going on

did you install the 1.2 patch? If so you may want to try rolling back to 1.1

Hi chaos mate yes i did but this happens with 1.1 and with 1.2 patches

any other thoughts ??? i dont know what going on but it is driveing me up the wall i can be in farcry creeping about the dark indoor area`s and the atmosphere is gripping then CRACK POP and it realy pisses me off and also takes the atmosphere out of the game from me and makes me want to throw the soundcard in teh bin and use my onboard soundstorm :/

also what are these KX or NX drivers floating about the place ? would these be better than the Latest Creative Offering becuse im so annoyed i would try anything lol but first i need to know if they will help or are they better than creatives defaults ? and also where do i get the latest version and finaly where in future will i be able to get the latest version from if i like them ? cheers.
