Need help on speaker decision
Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1s or the Creative Gigaworks S750s. I've heard many great things about each set so now I'm looking for some input from my fellow DH ppl

I only say the 5.1 because, why the hell would you need 7 satellites? I think they're about even in quality.

The ProMedias are $40 cheaper as well. Bah Klipsch are cheaper and have better sound clarity while the Creatives are a bit more spendy, have 7.1 (not needed but it's cool
), and supposedly have LOADS of bass which I def like for my games and movies.

trust me Klipsch has plenty of bass, I only have the 2.1 and I never need the sub turned up higher than half way.

5.1 is all I need, but then again who needs things like A64s or P4s overclocked, or fast SATA drivers, etc. this summer I'm getting what I want not what I need. I currently have the money for the Epox EP-8KDA3J, A64 3000+, and WD Raptor, and part of the Speaks. Gotta save up the rest for speaks and X800 Pro.

well, P4's and A64's will run things faster. but 7 speakers won't make things sound better.
they will give you more wires to deal with, though, and more of trying to find places to put them

....using a good set of tools and various hardware stores... you can build a very excellent 7.1 system without pushing out more then $50 and you'll end up with excellent sound.... Little bit for the extensions on the speaker wire if you need it... (currenly filling a 10 foot x 8 foot room.. (8 feet high)
