Default Post Undocumented button?

Ehmmm, does anyone know what this button's for?
It's nowhere in the manual to be found<<?>>
Doesn't seem to do anything, it's just there!

Which button? If you mean the start/menu button I think it can be setup to bring up the menu for your software dvd player. It's been awhile since I've owned one of these so don't quote me.

Sorry, forgot to bring attention to the opaque blue rectangle on the pic, 'round the button marked as 'speaker'...

Guys, have you even read my post? I mean, closely?

Press da button, press da button; I AM PRESSING, but nothing's happening

That's why I clearly stated that it's undocumented...

This is a screenshot, and the remote is the virtual remote, a part of the Creative RemoteCenter... Now, see there's no speaker button on the vir. remote?

You're the only puzzling about this button, but here are some best guesses.

One other button you will find that we never tried is a speaker button that’s supposed to let you control the external speaker volume of certain models of Cambridge SoundWorks speakers. We don’t know exactly what those models are but a good guess is some IR model not released yet (not in US anyway). We know it doesn’t work with Creative’s DTT3500 so it doesn’t seem to be done through the DIN connection.
