creamware power sampler

ive just come across a creamware power sampler soundcard.
ive had a bit of trouble getting it to work properly.
it uses a very strange mixer and other parts of setting it up are really difficult.

has any1 one used a creamware card, i was thinking as using it as a stand alone sampler for my comp
when not using cubase and triggering it over midi using an akai mpc 2000xl.

its supposed to have low latancy and stuff but I cant understand the complicated interface ..

would i be better using my m-audio delta with kontact or something like that?
or maybe even an audigy and sound fonts ... any1 know anything about creamware cards ..
i think its the same as a luna II.

I have once seen a preview of Creamware's drivers. This thing is so powerful!!!
I can only suggest you to experiment with it; that's the best way to learn.

If you can, please provide some screenies... I would like to see the whole driver interface

Thumbs Up!

Ive never used any screen dump programmes which is a good program to use for doing a screen dump to file?

ive managed to get the drivers installed properly now and its a pretty good sound card
it has a very generated kind of sound, it varies just a slight bit each time you press say
1 note of a piano not enough to notice easily, but this means I can sit and play a sampled instrument for longer because the sound doesent get boring as quick. The electronic instruments you get have that same kind of sound. its got a cretain quality to it.quite warm sounding compared to my m-audio.

its very complicated setting it up to use, but all you have to do is say map the sampler to midi in or
sequencer in etc. it seems very solid in the timing department, latency is about 2-3ms. dont know how it will work in cubase yet.

im just re-installing and am going to use it along side an m-audio audiofile.I am going to use the m-audio for asio and the creamware for samples, soundfonts and stuff.
im not sure if to go back to my audigy for soundfonts, i'll post which system works best.

You can use Print Screen and paste it somewhere. Or IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/) - 'Capture' option.

I use infan view i'll try it on that.

Ive got both powersampler and m-audio delta working together no prob
the powersampler sounds really good but there are problems, the virtual
samplers (STS-3000,4000)are not vsi instruments and have to be triggered by midi, so
timing is not brilliant.
Im going to try using cubase SX 2.01 to see if the timing improves...
its meant to syncronize all audio instruments as far as ive heard.
