VIA AC97 in Intel 845 mobo

Does anyone know where to get latest VIA AC97 drivers for Intel chipsets? The drivers available in manufacturer's site are dated 2003-04-14.
I was hoping the drivers available in VIA Arena would work, but apparently those works only in VIA chipsets.

Nope, that's VIA AC97 drivers for VIA chipsets.

Already tried Intel's site.

And I doubt Intel would have VIA's drivers available for download anyway.

It's Intel's 845 notebook mobo chipset, manufacturer is not mentioned anywhere. Notebook manufacturer is Fujitsu-Siemens.

It's usually that way with notebooks.

That hasn't stopped me from getting graphics, chipset, LAN and touchpad drivers which are a lot newer than what the notebook's manufacturer offers.

Gotta find those audio drivers somewhere...

Howewer, I have noticed that the notebook's audio drivers are based on VIA's ComboAudio driver package. Despite my several attempts, I've been unable to mod ComboAudio drivers properly so it would work with Intel 845 mobo. *sigh*
