Quick Question about Fade

I have Logitech Z-560 speakers, and i've been trying to figure out what the knob is designed to do. I know it's pretty newbish, but it's something that i'm not familiar with, any help would be great. Thanks.

You want to enable fading? Well, I'm not sure about hardware support for that, but foobar2000 can do that for you. Winamp can do it to with a plugin.
