Audigy 2 ZS Platinum pro and Dolby Digital SPDIF-in

Hi,

I have a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum pro and I'm trying to get the Dolby Digital (AC3) from my PS3 to work using the SPDIF-in of my Audigy 2.

Here is my setup:
- I have the optical out of my PS3 connected to the SPDIF-in of the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum pro.
- Installed the latest drivers from Creative.
- PS3 is setup to output DD5.1, PCM Stereo, etc

PCM Stereo sound works great, but as soon as I play a DVD in the PS3 and it outputs DD5.1, I hear popping sound (yes I know, it's the DD5.1 stream being compressed in a PCM Stereo stream).

When I enable "Dolby Digital/DTS SPDIF-In Decode" in the AudioHQ, I hear the actual DD5.1 sound instead of cracking/popping sound.. which is awesome.

Here is my problem: Whenever I play a DVD that outputs Dolby Digital, there is a delay in the sound of ~500ms. Image and sound are not sync'd. If I output a PCM Stereo stream, the sound is not delayed and everthing is ok.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this delay? Anyone been able get a setup similar to mine working ok?

Thanks!
