I have this sound card and a 9600GT with "sound on DVI" for the HDMI pass through. You have to run a wire from your sound device to the video card to pass the digital audio. Its a simple 2 wire (signal and ground) but the "SPDIF_IO" header on this card is not labeled! I have searched all over the internet and can't find a pinout for this card. The header is located in the middle of the card and is an 8-pin header with 5 pins on the top and 3 on the bottom. Does anyone know what 2 pins I would need to use.
With so many Gefore cards having this audio pass through these days you would think Creative would make this public and put the pin outs on the site or in the manual. I can find all the pinouts for EVERY other header on Creatives website but not for this 8 pin SPDIF_IO header. Likewise I can find other pinouts for the Audigy cards on the web but again not this one.
If anyone knows that would be great!
