X-Fi XtremeMusic (SB0460) -- Cannot find working driver
No matter what driver I try i get:
"Setup is unable to detect a support product on your system" I got this SB0460 on ebay from someone, I've tried the PAX, Dell, and Creative drivers. If I force the driver on the device I get a Code 10 error that the device cannot start up. One thing that really confuses me is that the DeviceID doesn't make any sense to me: "PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_FFFFFFFF&REV_00\ ... etc" Is it normal to have a "FFFFFFFF" SUBSYS? If I look through the drivers this is not a normal ID and definitely not in the device ID lists. |

First of all install what you want from the installation CD that came with the card, yes sometimes you will get that annoying message. Ignore and install the latest drivers from creative labs. It should work
