SB Audigy 2 ZS, EAX and 4GB of ram
I wonder is there any fix/patch available for problem with EAX and 4GB of ram ? Long time ago I discovered that when machine has 4GB of ram the EAX is no longer available and lucky for me my previous motherboard has a remap memory hole option which disabled it makes possible to use EAX (But reduce available memory to ~3.4GB)
Unfortunaly I changed mb (To Gigabyte GA-M750SLI-DS4) and it seems memory hole is remaped automaticly and I have no way to disable it and no EAX then ;( As far I know this problem is ancient and I wonder is there any fix for that ? For XP 32bit in my case. I already tired recent PAX drivers, but the problem is still there. |
