How to get X-fi Xtreme audio to work with XP

I have XP service pack 2 that I recently installed. And I can't seem to get this stupid card to work. It shows up as "pci device". I have tried various drivers (including the notebook ones) without any luck. Please help.

??? The PCI version of the X-Fi Xtreme Audio should work just fine with XP SP2. The PCIE version, on the other hand, only supports Vista. So, if that's the one you have, taedium, then you're out of luck. If you have the PCI version, try the official drivers off of Creatives site HERE.
