Re: New Auzen X-fi Home Theater HD 7.1 info!
The HDMI technology has it's roots firmly planted in home theater. The technology has Audio and video on one digital HDMI cable. Your video card connects to this card and is passed through the audio card for incorporation into the HDMI cable.
The HDMI cable is connected to a HDMI ready recevier and your LCD TV is connected to the recevier. The Video is sent to the LCD display and the audio is processed by the receiver. Using these cards gives you full resolution audio for Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, standards like Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HDMA....
This card also has full analog outputs and S/pdif output... HDMI is a new features for those who love home theater and high resolutions HT audio.

Looks really interesting. Reminds me a lot of ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3.

Too bad they changed the analo addon card for a split cable that goes thru a vga looking connector.
I would rather had the addon analog card then that cable for changing the other op-amps on the other channels.

Yes, changing opamps is great and many of us have built up collections.
I guess, it is better to have the fornt channels changable then none channels.
What analog add on card are you refering to?

Re: New Auzen X-fi Home Theater HD 7.1 info!
remember that card that was gonna come with it, that had more analog outputs on it. And had a cable that goes from the main to that card. Like how the HDVA Deluxe Had. When you first showed off pictures of it on another forum.
Like a smaller card that came with it with 7.1 outs on it and also had swapable op-amps.
