??? 5.1 realtime DTS encoding with Reclock ?! :(

Hi there,

I've just bought a Club 3D Theatron DTS agrippa (which is like the X-plosion from Auzentech Auzentech, Inc. Sound Cards. Audio You Can Believe In. World First soundcards for Music, HTPC, and Gaming.), but I realize that it can't encode 6 channels PCM into DTS, it only accepts stereo input

or maybe I'm wrong ?

In fact, I use Reclock to play my movies at 25fps(w/ timestretch), because my projector can't do 48Hz frequency...so I use 50Hz instead.

I use AC3filter to decode AC3/DTS in 6 channels 32 bit PCM, then I use Reclock to timestretch the audio....but I need Reclock's output to be reencoded to DTS/AC3(because my receiver is connected in S/PDIF).

Is there any soundcard that can provide this kind of feature ?

Asus Xonar ? X-Fi Prelude ?

Thanks!

If u want EAX for games go with XFI one if not won't hurt have two sound as one it works great for games for xfi music for me and listen music and online video on bgears sound card. hehe Only sad part that bgears only support 2.0 eax. So it wouldn't hurt have two sound cards at once

System Specs

I think X-Fi prelude supports what you want.
Auzentech, Inc. Sound Cards. Audio You Can Believe In. World First soundcards for Music, HTPC, and Gaming.
And, since it's X-Fi, it also supports EAX. Nice combo, isn't it?

But look at the specifications of the Xplosion, which is the same than the Agrippa :
Auzentech, Inc. Sound Cards. Audio You Can Believe In. World First soundcards for Music, HTPC, and Gaming.

They said too :
Quote:
DTS® Interactive : A real-time 5.1 encoder that takes any 2 or more channel and encodes it into DTS® bit stream. DTS® Interactive provides a single cable connection via S/PDIF digital audio output to a DTS® enabled surround sound system by encoding all audio into a DTS® compatible bit stream at 1.5Mbps
but i tested the Agrippa and she takes only 2 channels like said Leeperry.
Why ? :o

I'm not sure about specifications of the other cards...

Look :

it is the same than Xplosion in this test :

If someone could test, it would be very helpful !!
