This puts me in a bit of a quandry.. I have a TB SC, but I keep switching between it and my A7N8X's onboard sound. For 2 reasons..
1) Turtle Beach was reported to be out of the sound card biz.
Usually that means no new drivers, and bug/game fixes.
2) The Hulk game demo has a problem with the TBSC. The sound breaks up,
and vanishes halfway through it. The readme.txt said it was the card's
problem. So it made me wonder what ELSE has problems with it..
I've gotten most of the crackling, and static out of my Nforce2 sound, but it rears it's ugly head once in a while, but at least it never does anything like is descibed in point #2..
Which would be best? Use a soon to be orphaned sound card, the mobo sound, or a diff. sound card? If the latter, which?
I've heard the Audigys are the best sound, but the worst in terms of the amount of errors, glitches, bugs, and just plain resource hogging..

I suggest you to try these newer TBSC drivers, other people I know also reported that they are great
Maybe they have fixed what you wanted
