X-fi audio creation mode - 2.1 or headphones?
If using a x-fi music card, along with a set of sennheiser 595 pro headphones plugged directly into the soundcard, which mode would offer a more accurate replication of sound when producing music?
2.1 or headphone mode.. For a while i've been using headphone mode but only recently others have recommended me to use 2.1 as apparently the headphone mode increases the output volume slightly more. Could somebody clear this up for me please. Thanks |

I know most people I read say to use 2.1 when listening to music in audio creation mode. because of headphone mode ruining the sound stage of headphones.
I use 2.1 for movies gaming and music, and audio creation for composing, music and movies. and in gaming mode 2.1 for gaming. Because headphone mode ruining my headphones sound quailty and sound stage. I voted 2.1 but it really depends on the headphones.
