Question about Audigy 2 ZS

Hey guys!

So I'm planning on buying an XBOX 360, and the only thing stopping me right now from ordering it is audio connection. I recently bought a 24" monitor as well, so my budget is tight right now, and I don't have enough to buy a receiver as well for optical (or hdmi) connection to enjoy surround on my analog input speakers...

Now, I'm reading that the Audigy 2 ZS I have in the PC might support digital in (through the optical) and output to the analog jacks. Is that true? Is my problem solved?

Thanks in advance!

It's support consoles systems thats why I pick this card up That way I can get game console later on

System Specs

the A2ZS will be able to receive a SPDIF input and send it via the speakers
you'll have to enable AC3 decoding for dolby digital to work though

Alright, and what do I need for that? I see in the kX Mixer there is an "AC3 Decoding" option (and something similar with the Creative drivers in the console), is that it? Just enable and it should work?
