Help. Losing Soundblaster Live Drivers!!

Have been using a Soundblaster Live card with Windows XP. Problem is that once system is restarted, the sound drivers disappear. If I re-install audigy-type, kx-type or soundblaster-type drivers again and DO NOT re-start machine as requested.... drivers work perfectly until I restart again.

I have tried deleting every sound driver place I could find drivers including registry, Inf, add/remove, system32, device manager etc.

Have even removed drivers, removed sound card, replaced it with other card which works perfectly, removed it and replaced it with Soundblaster Live and have experienced the same loss of drivers upon restart. Have been unsuccessful emailing CREATIVE.

Anyone out there ever experienced this....

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
