Razer Barracuda AC-1 + HP-1, MIC problem
HI, i have problem with microphone in headphones Razer barracuda hp-1, i have also soundcard ac-1 and headphones are connected by hd-dai, I have XP 32 bit and 1.10 razer drivers, Everything works fine but I have problem with microphone in this headphones, when i set mic on full in settings and turn on ventrilo or teamspeak, other peoples dont hear what I'm saying, it is too quiet, when i turn on in settings "MIC BOOST" than in some program for recording there is some noise but i hear what i saying, but in ventrilo, there is only some loud noise, not matter on which level is set microphone, sory for my english, what can I do with this mic problem?

Sory for refreshing, but i have 1 question, I used drivers from Asus Xonar D2, on my Razer Barracuda AC-1 (the same chip CMI 8788) and my mic now works fine ^^, but i cannot turn on the utilities for Asus "Xonar D2 audio center", when i click on it, nothing happend, is there some way to turn it on?

how did u install asus drivers?
i'm tryin but it says "asus xonar card not detected" or plug asus device..dont remember exactly

probably not
the ASUS drivers are probably looking for features on the card not supported in your model (they may use the same primary chip, but often manufacturers will add different features to the cards to others) |

hm
i've done the same, my razer app works with this drivers, asus apps doesn't
need some time to figure out how to hack ini files, or setup...but dont have time
anyway it works, and sound(positioning and modes on hp or 2.0 speakers) is better than oryginal razer drivers, and...i got no issues now, and with razers i got bsods on startup AAO(1 time, loading), 3 times on stalker(loading game), grid demo...and some weird echoes like sh1ty creative eax on ono everything except music
