Hi, I have an extreme audio card I've downloaded (Youp_Pax_XFIAudio&XFIXpressAudioV1.00.00).exe. I receive the message "a higher version of driver is found in your system, installation will abort" when I try to run the youp-pax install.
Have uninstalled creative drivers and run driver cleaner.

Then used your currect drivers then. I don't know why because I don't have one. Maybe I should move the date up more maybe it would installed better next time.
Um try force the driver installed from main driver area of the folder next time.

Just installed the driver from /driver/setup.exe as you suggested. Also installed the mixer and other utilities off the soundcard cd.
I have been Listening to music for the last half hour or so and there seems to be a definite increase in audio quality compared to the creative drivers

Hi, tried your drivers on vista x64 today and i have found a few bugs. First of all the creative driver files get dumped directly into "Program Files (x86)" so that your setup.exe can't find them.
After moving them into the installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Youp_Pax_Audigy_XFI_Vista_V1.01.00) setup started fine.
But I can't install the drivers, during setup i get an error (sorry don't wrote it down - but I can reinstall if you want to know) and after rebooting device manager tells me:
Code:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
The configuration registry key is invalid.
Card is a Audigy 2 Value
PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0008&SUBSYS_10011102&REV_00
I even tried to use the setup located in the drivers subdir and i tried installing them only using device manager - result stays the same.

It seems that the extreme music, platnium, and Fatal1ty Pro all use the same circuit board.
Also the OEM manufacturers also use this board like mine. Which is an extreme music OEM and a SB0460
hope that helps to identify your card.

Youp_Pax_AudigyXFIV4.02.00 wont work on my Audigy 2 ZS (XP -german).
Bluescreen at the end of installation.
Same if i try to uninstall the broken driver.
As rcommended i didnt install the Audio Console.
Driver Cleaner was the only way to red rid of the driver.
Reinstalled YouP-PAX-AXv3.63.03d
