Music playback with vista, static/choppy

PC Is a Gateway GM5446E

Intel C2D e6320
2GB DRR2-667
OEM Intel D945G Mobo
Sisoft Says Audio is Onboard Intel Azaila Using Sigmatel HD Audio drivers

Im using the latest drivers i can find reinstalled a couple times but still same problem. Also on a possible related/unrelated subject, Media player opens after i click on a song but it seems to take a good 5 seconds before the song plays.

I had an oem board in with the sigmatel hd onboard audio, i couldn't find a single driver that didn't have some kind of an issue. Bloody annoying, all i had for an option was to suggest installing a sound card. Hopefully you have better luck Random.

I found a website reccomending dell oem ones, they installed but upon reboot it said no sound device installed. Also found a link for some modded ones but the link was down
