I know this might be a very simple question for most folks but I'm kind of new to this. My question is , Can I run a pair of 8 Ohm speakers at the same time with a pair of 4 Ohm speakers? Thank you.
This is the amp I'll be using:
- 1000 watts RMS @ 4 Ohms bridged mono
- 500 watts per channel RMS @ 4 Ohms
- 250 watts per channel RMS @ 8 Ohms
- 1/4-inch balanced XLR and RCA inputs
- Banana binding post
- 115V/230V switchable
- Left/Right level controls
- Ground lift
- Protected LED
- Peak LED
- Fan-cooled
This pair of speakers are 8 Ohms:
Frequency response
33Hz - 22kHz
Nominal impedance (in ohms)
8
Power handling
300W
Sensitivity
92 dB
This one pair of speakers that are 4 ohms:
Frequency response
30Hz - 22kHz
Nominal impedance (in ohms)
4
Power handling
450W
Sensitivity
92 dB
