Views? The criteria for this is that they have to be in ear headphones for portability.

I love Shure's too, you can get some pretty mad deals on the e4's.
Interesting design on the Senns, ear buds hurt my ears.

While I like the Shures as well (pretty much the E3 and up, and in particular the E5c), I'd have to say that the best in-ear phones I've ever heard would be the Westone UM2. It may look like shit, but hot damn the UM2s sound amazing. The only problem is that both are $450+ headphones. At that price they'd never leave the house. Then again, if that is the case then I would go for a regular set of cans instead. If I was buying them for portable use, and had to watch my wallet, I'd probably go with the Westone UM1 at $150.

can't wear those in ear jobs personally, they hurt after only a couple minutes.
I still cling shamelessly to my ltd ed senn px100's, they're awesome.
had a fantastic pair of sony's a couple years back (you know, the kind that are earplugs but on a headband) they sounded real nice

I currently have a pair of shure E2C's. They have great sound but I will upgrade when funds permit.
Here are a few good sites to look into for you while researching.
