Stock motherboard voltage for X1900XTX?
I've looked/searched all over, but I can't seem to find what the "default stock voltage" ATI suggests you use with the X1900XTX. On many motherboards (like mine) you don't have a default voltage option for the PCIe graphic slot - so are forced to choose.
So, does anyone know what the answer to this is? What voltage should you assign in the BIOS for an X1900XTX video card?

all PCIe cards take the same voltage. Never adjust the PCIe voltage.

You missed the point... what IS that voltage? There is no default voltage option for an Asus A8R-MVP. The options are:
* 1.20
* 1.30
* 1.40
* 1.50

Leave it alone. I think 1.20V is default on our board.

Have the same motherboard and 1.20v is somewhat "default" , as if you set bios to default settings, it sets that voltage to 1.20.

The lowest voltage is usually ALWAYS the default one.

Not so. My mobo supports between 1.1v and 2.325v VCore, stock is 1.65 on my chip.
Here's my advice: If it ain't broke don't fix it.

There have been BIOS issues with this motherbard - and when updating there's no guarantee Asus set everything to it's default state. Since my very first boot involved updating the BIOS, I was concerned the 1.2v setting was incorrect. In addition there is no documentaion from Asus nor ATI on what that voltage should be.

Does it actually display 1.1V VCore when you try to change it?

Yes. The list goes from 1.100 volts, all the way up to 2.325 volts, in 0.025 volt increments. It excludes some voltages like 2.250 I believe.

Yeah the first KV7's were like that, and I got one at the right time.
