ATI x1800xls available
As reported on theinquirer.net, X1800XLs onsale via a few online websites, especifically UK.
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=97761
Shipping same day, which implies stock is on the ground and available. Not too bad, given people were expecting months of waiting after a 'paper launch'. 19 in stock as I type...
Who has money to burn?

$34 is the difference between 'moron' and 'savy customer'

Damn, not even worth thinking about. They better get their pricing back in line soon!

lol, they will sell them anyway. The only people who would buy the x1800xls right now as opposed to the 7800GTX would probably fall into that catagory. Either that or they would have to be ATI fanatics, though even they would wait.
Edit: 7800's newegg

Even if i like the quality and a lot more from ATI there s no way i will buy a X1000 series while NVidia card are so aggresively priced compare to ATI ....
All in all 7800 series rock the market for now and ATI will have to wait the next round to show us that they still are able to compete .
Anyway i will wait after Christmas to upgrade because my system play good as it is now @ 1280x1024 resolution ! even the fear demo run well on the the 5.6 driver which is the more stable in my eyes .
So yes ATI fanboy should wait for the next round !
