Opengl problem sapphire 9600 256mb nonpro

Well, I think im about sick and tired of this video card or the computer whicherver the problem is. First i had a problem with vpu recovery when running directx games which i fixed by changing to 4x but now i have this opengl problem. whenever i try to take screenshots in CS 1.6 or record footage with fraps it takes like 30 seconds or a minute and its not all the time its like 9 out of 10 times i think whenever i update drivers it works once than when i restart it doesnt work? I THINK not sure maybe got lucky. Its only when i use OpenGL to take screenshots that this happens. heres my info

computer info

yeah i might have to use D3D to make the movie but i cant use it to play cs because i get random slow downs on the mouse like all of a sudden my mouse drags even tho im getin like 90-100fps. I also have mousefix

Also if this might help I get like 93fps with opengl than 100fps sometimes maybe that has a relation to the opengl problem? just like when i change color settings in control panel sometimes it changes CS color sometimes doesnt. Just like my minute screenshot problem is sometimes Also I only tried screenshoting and recording footage on opengl with cs no other games or programs so i dont know if its CS, but D3D on CS works fine other than problem stated above

Make fps_max 1 FPS less than the vertical sync of your monitor and that should fix it.

thanks that fixed the D3D problem but i still have a smoke problem and nade a little flash when someone smokes and i look at it i completely go in slow mo and than when i turn away i go super fast basically unbareable. Same thing with nade if it lands in my face i go slow mo for a sec and speed up. but i have another question i think im thru with this video card with all of its problems. Do you think its the video card problem the vpu recovery and the opengl Do you think changing to another 8xagp vid card will fix the problems?

CHanging to another video card is a whole other playing field, but getting a more powerful one is never a bad thing
