Where do you have the overtemp warning set? It may be that the new drivers are just allowing your card to utilize its full potential so it is heating up more.

From what I have seen, 60-70 degrees Celsius is normal for the card when it is under stress.

You may also want to check to make sure that you don't have Overdrive enabled in the CCC. I've found that it usually pushes the core way over where it should be to be stable.

System Specs

Rofl BF2 is not a game you should upgrade for the graphics isn't anything that great. If anything buy 2GB for ram becouse the game is a resource waster like no other. Bloaty as in a bloatware game....
It precaches everything wich is nutz....no dynamic loading as hapens in just about all other games...
You need at least a 1.5GB....

60-70C s the normal temps what are you getting?

well the vidoe card upgrade is basicly free since im an emplyee and and can exchnage things out unlimitedly .. or till managment says ii cant.. which wont happen any time soon cause i make them too much commission for them to piss me off.. as for the memory i agree.. but that i woud have to pay for so i have to wait for some bonus cash to roll in cause the wife wont let me blow our rent money .. but ill probbaly go up to 3 gigs here soon cause memory is cheap right now even without my discount.. as for the overdrive ill shut the thing off... but it was showing me running at 81 and 82 degrees C... shrug

hmm wont let me relock the over drive.. .. maybe ill try the latets omega's
