Info on new VIVO cards or 9100?
Anyone have any info on upcoming VIVO cards, maybe for the 9500 Pro? The only current card I could find it the HIS 9000 Pro VIVO card:

Or any info on the 9100? Is this going to be DX9 or x8 AGP?

Yep the 9100 is a rebadged 8500. People still buy em like hotcakes, so ATI just renamed it to show that is really is faster than a 9000.
Not sure on full VIVO features for non-AIW cards though man.

I recently upgraded my card from a Radeon 64MB VIVO to a Radeon 8500le 64MB. The 8500 is in fact DX 9.0 and Catalyst 3.0
compatible, oc'ed and pretty good for $100CDN. The one thing I noticed is that avi-divx-mpeg playback quality is poorer on the 8500. Games are better looking and I get more fps. OpenGL support is much improved.

wrong
no 8500 is not dx9 hardware compatible, the drivers are, cat. 3.0 are compatible with dx9, but extra speed from dx9 on a 8500 is not likely, maybe the drivers, burt not dx9.

perhaps
In order to take advantage of cat.3.0 you need to install dx9. So the glass is either half empty or half full. I believe you are correct in the assesment that the 8500 will not take advantage of dx9 improvements even though it is nessecary for installation of cat3.0

Does anyone knows if the sapphire version of the 9100 has fullstream support. Is there any way to enable fullstream support on the old 8500le?
