Always save a copy of the current BIOS before FLASHING
Improperly video card flashing means that you can see anything
to undo [reflash the old BIOS]

There is a discussion in the Windows 2000/XP Driver Forum about saving your current BIOS and modifying the Vendor ID etc.

I have seen references on this forum to Radeon 8500 BIOS's at this website - use with caution

http://colosseum.com/pimento/binbla~1/binbla~1.htm

from Catalyst 2.4 - you can determine the BIOS version from Display Properties --> Settings ->> Advanced Settings [lower left] --> Options Tab --> click on DETAILS button to see all kinds of information on the Video Card and Video Drivers installed

I own a AIW8500DV, i recommended to upgrade my card with the last BIOS(my Bios is from NOV 2001), what are the differences between the Bios and what are the problems that correct this upgrade?

Well, flashing your video bios usually doesn't correct problems, but you can change tv-out standart and some overclocking abilities, i think
