X800xt Headache
Whenever i play any game i get a stuttering about every second when i move around when i stand still it is okay, it is more noticeable in doom3 + Half life2 than older games, i have turned vsync on + off to no avail and also turned all the settings to lowest in doom3 and it still does it! I dont get any artifacts at all and i have the latest drivers for everything i even tried older cat drivers. Ive tried different memory+cpu(a64 3400),power supply, motherboard(kv8pro)and monitor, now i am totally lost! My 3dmark05 score is okay=5880 and the doom timedemo i got 82.3 fps in the cs-scource video stress test i get 133.00 fps! this is getting REALLY annoying! Anyone got any ideas?A64 3400 Asus K8N-E Deluxe X800xt pe 1Gb pc3200 Audigy 2 windows xp pro+sp2 |

whats the voltage for agp(in bios)? i found setting it to 1.6v helped a lot.
also increase your AGP aperture size to 256. |

My agp arperture was already on 512 but i tried 256 anyway and 1.6v from 1.5 but nope! Could the memory have anything to do with it? i have 1gb of crucial pc3200 i had to go for the budget option! the mem clock is 200mhz and the cas latency is 3.0. By the way this whole set up is about 8 months old and it is only recently this started happening!

Have you tried installing the latest drivers for your motherboard? You coud also try removing the ATi drivers, booting up in Safe Mode and using Driver Cleaner to remove all the remaining traces of the drivers in your machine. Finally reboot and reinstall the driver set once again.
