some CS:S HL2 issues! HELP! anyone know what this is?
do you see these lines on the character?? these lines are seen on CS source and HL2

its on some of the items in the game but mostly on characters.

can someone tell me what this is? i tried installing the omega driver and still no luck.

any video masters can tell me whats causing this problem??

oh i forgot to mention that i have a 9800 pro and i use the drivers that came with it because of the issues im having with omega.

omega crashes Valve games for my system, and wont allow xvid movies to play. its odd.

Are you overclocking? Those might be from overheating of your video card. If you are, just try it at stock speeds, and very gently overclock it, with radlinker or ati tray tool.

are u using original games or cracked ones? cus if u have cracked games that might be your problem.

Umm.. you need to try the latest 5.3 http://www.ati.com/ then we will se where you stand god knows what out dated version is on your install CD

Yes as said above get the 5.3's. If you are playing with the ones off the cd i am suprised it looks that good.

Hell, I'm surprised it runs at all with the boxed Drivers. What happens with Omega's drivers exactly?

omega drivers are just standard catalysts that have been optimised to run better on various games and improve the visual quality. although i personally can't see the difference they do help with framerates

In certain games, such as World of WarCraft, I've noticed increases of up to 20FPS from when compared to stock ATI drivers.
