9500 Pro failing
Well I hope they can fix my card... it is checkerboarding during post and s getting broad vertical lines after boot up... I have tried it on four computers. It had been on my NF7-S and working well. I took it out to switch CPUs to a Mobile and when I put it back together I got this problem. I did switch the CPU back, no joy. Tried it on my AV8, KV7 and MSI Delta L boards. Same thing. Checking with ATI now about repairing it.
BTW what is the best 'bang for the buck' card out there now....AGP ATI based. (I know about and might buy a 6600GT) I just haven't kept up with what is comparable.

9800pro is price and performance comparable to a 6600GT, but a 6600GT is still a better card to buy.

9800 pro is a very good card , but with all the new games coming out i wouldn't recommend nothing below a 6600gt .

That's a hard sell, while I am not trying to favor either of the two, 6600GT gets beaten by a good old 9800 PRO here and there.
