VGA Palette Snooping

I was wondering how to turn off VGA palette snooping in my mobility radeon 9000. Should i turn it off, is it dangerous? I've heard its better for performance to turn it off if your card doesn't need it.

MythicaL is on a distinguished road

You can turn it off from your system BIOS. Some graphic controllers, which are not VGA compatible, take the output from a VGA controller and map it to their display as a way to provide the boot information and the VGA compatibility.

I doubt you need it, it was a feature for much older systems.
