9550 question
I have a young friend that is playing Everquest on an Athlon 1.4 system using the onboard video. So, almost any thing would be an up grade
 He's on a pretty tight budget, and I'm thinking that the 9550 Pro should make a big difference for him.Would the 9550 give him decent performance? Especially given the limitation of his CPU? OH, and please, don't give the usual upgrade to a 3500+ with an X800. That's out of the question. But the 9500 Pro IS in his budget. Thanks

yes it would!i have one myself and im very satisfied,i can all the latest games in the resolution 800x600 with everything set on high with no problems,my last video card was a geforcefx5700le total crap!

I have a Ati Radeon 9550 and I can play all games on 1024x768 on max settings, but your friend could upgrade his CPU
