Hmm...
Welcome to DH.
![]() I think I know what you're talking about, but I would like confirmation by use of a screenshot if you can.

They should show if its a video card issue, they won't show if its a monitor issue
![]() I'm thinking its an artifact issue which could be heat or lack of voltage related issue.

Bingo. Video card issue. This looks very familliar to me. I've experienced a few times with my 9500 PRO, but I fixed it by raising the AGP Voltage for my motherboard. If that doesn't work and your card is overclocked try lowering the memory clocks. If your card isn't overclocked then it may be some sort of hardware defect.
Please also list your current computer configuration and mention any recent hardware changes you may have had. (ie. 350 W) Also, when did this start to happen? P.S - I'm going to bed now since it's 2 AM, but I'll answer your messages in the morning (or hopefully somebody else can). Good luck, I hope my advice helps

when I put it from default to 1.6volts agp, my comp gets slow to run for some reason. My friend told me to buy a pci fan because my video card might be over heating. I never Overclock my video card. Thanks for your help. Any other suggestions?

Does the 1.6 V AGP voltage fix it though? I think it's a voltage issue. Read my last post about the other questions I asked. It'll help isolate the issue as well.

also - clock down the card to specs or below until the problem goes away.
if they do then its either a voltage problem or a heating problem if they don't go away even if you under clock the card by lets say 50MHz then maybe the card is dead...

because your PSU might be having problems....
load your motherboard monitoring software and check the 3.3Volt rail... is it anything less then 3.18 at time??? during full load or anything?? if so then its almost defenitly a PSU problem. check the other voltages to make sure they dont fall under the 5% limit. but the most important is the 3.3V also you might have a problem with the contact between the stock heat sink and the cards core.. I've heard of cases where the paste just crambled away.. so check that too... rgds me972

As for why does it start happening now, it's probably just cuz your PSU is slowly "wearing out". You don't need a new cooler, BTW. Maybe a new quality PSU of 430 W or so for expandability and stability.
