Serious problem with Sapphire X800pro

I bought this X800pro the other day and i can't get more than 7000 marks in 3dmark2001 SE...

My system is: P4 2@2.4GHz, 1GB DDR333 ram, Motherboard Gigabyte 8ST667 (SiS 645DX chip), Windows XP SP1 (clean from format), SiS 1.17 AGP driver, 4.12 beta catalyst driver.

In control panel all is performance oriented with fast write off...

I though with this system i should get at least 14000 marks in 2001 right? What is my problem then?? I haven't tried any of the other 3dmarks since i got so dissapointed i couldn't even dare...

Can you help me?

System Specs

i havent used 3DMark01SE in a long time so i dont really remembe rthe scores too well. Try running 3DMark05 and see what you get. You should be around 5000 or so in the 05 version. Your cpu might be a bottleneck for that card.

Have you tried ATI tool to check if card is running at the correct specs?

I think you should get at least double that score.

I get almost 10K in 3DM2001 with a 9100... You should get >20k. What card did you have before? You might need to uninstall the graphics and chipset driver and re-install them again (first the chipset, then the graphics driver).
