BNC should give you better picture quality than standard RGB cable but the cable you got with your card is not a BNC cable, its for connecting to an HDTV screen or projector for large screen high quality gaming and video. To the your BNC inputs on your monitor you will need to buy a special RGB to BNC cable.

The VGA to BNC adaptor is really a seperate cable which plugs into the VGA port on your card, you should have got a DVI to VGA adaptor with the card but I don't know if these work with a BNC cable or not as I don't have a BNC cable to try it with. There should really be no reason to need to use the DVI port on your card though as it won't improve the signal any (unless you need to connect a second monitor that is). As for getting a BNC cable you should be able to get one from any good computer shop or online compter store. If you're in the UK DABS have one for £16.99.
