You definitly don't want a 9800XT, they are very overpriced. Pricewatch revealed that you can get a X800 Pro for $382 + shipping.

Hey guys, thanks for the reply to the post. I found out something interesting today. The reason i was askin about what card to buy, is because i have a 9800 pro that is fried and i was going to replace it and just send it back to ati. When i went into best buy i told them i bought the card there and they said just bring it in and i get credit for what i paid for it to put toward a different card, so i went and got the card and they gave me credit for $263 and the x800 pro 256 mb card cost me an additional $157. So i thought i was lucky and since they dont carry the card in store, they are sendin it to my house. Just thought i would let you know and thanks again for the replys. Later...............

I did actually buy the 9800 pro at best buy in march of this year, i went and had the receipt faxed to best buy, (cause my wife had it with her at work) and then went and got the card and put it in the box, took it back and they ordered me up a X800 pro, it should be at my house on friday. The difference in pricing was i owed a total of $158, and i got a brand new X800 pro. They put full cost of the 9800 pro that i had toward my X800 pro. The 9800 pro cost me $249.99. I was pretty happy............. Where did you get your 9800 Pro at?
