hi this is my first post so be kind:

i have a 9500 on my computer and i installed the omega drivers which i beleived boosted my computer considerably (from 3000 to 4500 on 3dmark 03) but i noticed a small checkered pattern which appeared after the driver installation. it is on my desktop now but can hardly be seen all over the display. it is most obvious during games and benchmarking. has anyone got any suggests on how to remedy it. o and i think something wacky is goin on cos 4500 on a 9500 128mb and 2600+ athlon xp is way too high.

Ok sounds like your card doesnt like having it soft modded"im assuming you used those drivers" Just reinstall the omega drivers and select normal drivers.
BTW those checkerd things are Artifacts. Good luck
