hi all
hope this is the right part of the forum for this post: i have a sapphire radeon atlantis 9600 pro graphics card now,and i have been thinking about an upgrade to a ati 9800 pro card. but i am in a bit of worries about my rig specs..... can it handle a 9800 pro? cpu amd xp 2500+ @1.8 ram: 1024 ddr333 1 asus cd drive 1 asus dvd/cd combi burner 1 120gig hd seagate 1 160gig hd seagate psu chieftec 350 watts the only worry i got is the psu,ati say that 300w psu is needed, but is this as a minimum or is 350w enough? and the cpu will it be a bottleneck with the new card? |

It looks fine on overall. The Chieftec PSU's seem to be 'okay' (not bad, not top notch) so it shouldn't be a problem. Some games will be somewhat limited by the CPU, but in most you will definitely see a good boost with the new card.
