cheap x800xt in the US
well, i said i would post this site after i confirmed my order. they have sapphire x800xtpe vivo's for 459 dollars, 469 w/ shipping. mine is going out tonight another hour and a half or so the guy said
www.xpcgear.com
very highly rated, i called them and the people on the other end of the line could actually speak english were very friendly and helpful.
i would have posted this in the "good deals on x800's" but now that x800's are fairly easy to find no one checks there anymore...and this is a xt platinum edition

I just went and checked that card out, it says nothing about it being a Platinum Edition, are you sure it is one? I have been looking for one.

the clock rates are of a normal XT and not PE... but it doesn't realy matter
since you can surly O/C to PE speeds....and there is not diff between them..

Heh, I was thinking about ordering it, and I went back today and they jumped up the price to 499.99. No biggie, I've actually got two X800 XT PE's ordered for 450.00, but they are on backorder until next month, and one BFG 6800 Ultra OC for 475, also on backorder until who knows when. Anyway, whichever card comes first will get put in my machine and the others will either get cancelled or sold on eBay.

i just called down there, they took down my address and number and said they would call the driver and then call me back. so yah, hopefully it'll be here soon.
lol, talk about UPS being slow, on a business day it got to one location at 11pm, 10pm the next day it was unloaded from the truck...i'm definately a fedex fan
edit
it just arrived, but the ESD bag is torn, so if it doesn't work i'm gonna be pissed

well, on the back of the card there's a sticker that says x800 xt. i have the r420 core and 1.6 ram. my card handles xtpe speeds w/out a problem. i just have a weird glitchy thing at boot-up and it scores very low in 3dmark2001, but 03 and 05 are fine.
