9550 256mb Overclockiblity?

Im buying a 9550 256mb card and im getting it for a experiment in overclocking.
Ive browsed the forums and found nothing on how far this card can really go.
So im building my friend a computer with this card and its the same exact comp
specs as mine and imma go head on with the 9550 256mb vs 9500 128mb card.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-378&depa=1

I will be using the EXTREME GIANT III cooler for the 9550 Radeon and the VGA silencer for the 9500 Pro Radeon card.

Ive already perchased the stuff and will arive here on friday or saturday.
So before I get this all together im wondering who else has tried overclocking the 9550 256mb and will it compair to the 9500 pro? *drinks coffee*

9500 Pro speeds at the moment. Core 330mhz Memory 315mhz
9550 Stock speeds: Core 250mhz Memory 200mhz

Thanks for reading and please reply.

From some of the reviews i have seen, you should be able to clock the core at least 100mhz more, and the memory 60 + more... i have even seen some over clock the card to 400/300, which is pretty insane, but the least u should get it 350/260, almost guaranteed on stock cooling

well hopefully i can get more out of the card i get out of this 9500 softmodded 8 pixel pipes and 330 core and 315 mem. If it beats my card then im putting it in my machine, if it doesnt it goes in my friends machine. lol

Oh and i forgot to mention im gunna be using artic silver 5 for thermal paste, and copperramsinks on the ram, about 3 on each ramthingy. Im buying 4 packets of these "link below" ramsinks. They do the trick on my 9500 Pro 1 per a ramthingy but sence the ramthingys on the 9550 are bigger ill use 3-4 on each ramthingy horizonily looking at it up and down, or verticly depending on witch way your looking at it.

oops forgot the link.

No way will ever beat a 9550 any 9500(pro). As for o/c, cheap cards come with cheap memory (you should have the cheapest @256M) and if it's 5ns chips you may even watercool those and still not go (much) over 200MHz...
