ATI driver install
I just purchased a Radeon X800Pro - 256 -8/4 AGP - I am new to ATI somewhat and would like to know the order of installing the drivers I downloaded
This is the order i think they should be installed in - is this right ? 1- wxp-w2k-8-051-040825a-017633c.exe 2- wxp-caralyst-control-center-1 3- tv-capture-wdm-6-14-10-624 4- control-panel-8-051-040825a I also have atiCDwiz4-0 mmc 9-1-0-0-dao-mdac mmc 9-02-0-0 it also told me that i needed net frame which i just downloaded can someone please just give me the order or a guide i can use thank you for your time Starship Warrior |

1st) install the .NET framework which you can find here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
2nd) install the driver wxp-w2k-8-051-040825a-017633c.exe 3rd) install the CCC (wxp-caralyst-control-center-1) 4th) basicly you're finished now, all other are optional. wdm drivers are capture drivers if you have tv-in, the control panel is the old version of CCC but it does have a lower mem footprint. MMC is a set of multimedia programs and so on. GL |

Thank you all for your help
I do not have broadband - too pricey and I dont use the net enought to even consider it I followed your instructions but did not get the new CCC that was reviewed in this fourm Any guess why? I have two other ATI cards - the AIW 9000 Pro and the X800 Pro I will try it with those and see what happens Starship Warrior |
