x800pro and 3dmark03 crashing

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with 3dmark crashing... It always runs the first and second bench, but then either just after the seconds stopped i get dropped to desktop, or it might run the 3rd bench and then before the 4th crash.

Im running 4.7's and 9.0c. I dont believe it to be an install issue, as ive never had them before... I have uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers... anyone had this happen to them?

I am currently not oc'd at all, and have tried reinstalling 3dmark... no luck... i still get the 3rd bench rarely, but mostly just before the 3rd loads, I crash...

Could be so many things:
A bad install of 3dm2003
weak powersupply
spyware, trojans, virus
bad memory, CPU, Mobo
bad driver install (chipset,DX,ATI)
and much more possibilities,

post your SPECS if you want more help

I was having the same exact problem, wrote to Futuremark and this is what they said:

Hi,

It is possible that your problem is caused by a recently discovered bug

in 3DMark03, we're currently working on a patch but as an immediate

solution closing as many background processes as possible should help.

Details about the patch will be announced at [color=#0000ff]www.futuremark.com[/color] as soon

as the problem has been resolved.
