Soft Mod for a 9550
Got my son one of these for his PC and he is having REAL problems with Doom 3. I thought that a "Soft-Mod" might fix it for him but couldnt find any info on softmoding the 9550. I have tried the "Omega" drivers with the "9500 softmod" but windows reports that the card is "unKnowen". (didnt work) Has any one got any info on this that might help me??

System Specs

There isn't any softmod to the 9550, becuase it's not possible and therefore you can't use the 9500 softmod.

btw. the 9500 and the 9550 are very different.

9550 is based on RV350/RV360 chips (9600 series)

no known soft mod sorry,

BUT THEY MAY O/C LIKE A MAD MAN ON THE CORE CLOCK

I've got the same card, are there any posibilities of enabling the other 4 pipelines?

Edit: Sorry, I don't know where did I get that info... Now i know there are only 4 pipes
