Help!!! - artifacts!
I just get back my new card from warranty yesterday, they give me totally new card. It's about Connect 3D 9600 Pro with 128MB 3.3ns BGA rams. (GPU:400 / RAM: 600). I got Abit NF7 mainboard, and my previous card was overclocked very well: 475 / 750, and when i setup the 4.5 based Omega driver from there the Side Band Adressing turned on, and i think the problems started fom there... my 3d screed turned into artifacts, but even if i set clocks to default speed. Then I returned card with warranty and now with the new card without oc-ing its the same problem with the default clocks. Even in the windows, when I moving some window fast about 10 seconds my sreen get heavy artifacts and then i need to restart XP. I dont know really what is the problem but i tried almost everything, every available drivers, its the same problem, i turned off frast writes, x4 AGP...
But i can't turn SBA off, and i think there is the problem..
Anyone knows how can i turn it off?

are you overclocking your CPU at all?
its very odd this. did they return your original card or send you a new one?
And I think you can turn off SBA by using something like powerstrip

Yes I overclocking my AMD Athlon XP Braton cpu from 2500+ to 3200+, but I think its not the promblem because everything was ok before SBA.
And this problem becomes with standard 2500+ clock too.
And they sent me a new card in the new package.

The soft-mod drivers sometimes cause that. Did you change the bios at all?

in that case it's most likely bios related...
