Radeon 9700-Mobile and 2.5.51 Omega Drivers

I installed the new drivers because I'm just off of a format and now I can't watch videos in any format without turning off Direct Draw and Direct 3d Acceleration, but without the acceleration I can't play any games such as Enemy Territory and Unreal Tournament 2004. Any ideas?

I did all that, it's a Direct Draw thing if I use the drivers before that it's fine I think it is something with DirectDraw and the new drivers. I have every codec it'd ever use.

I have the identical issue. With the 2.5.51 drivers my laptop is slow and can't play any video. With all the previous versions since I've had my laptop everything is perfect. I go back to 2.5.44 and everything is fast and sweet. Have to stick with them I guess. Something in the new drivers don't like my setup.

I have a Sager laptop (which I love) and visiting the Sager forums I have found numerous other laptop owners with the same issue on the newest drivers. They have all stated that going back to the previous drivers as we have, has fixed their problems.
