Problem Club 3D 9800 pro
Well i, bought a 9800 pro but somethimes ( 2 or 3 times a day) the screen is turning into big stripes and blockes and the other time the screen becomes black (or turns the monitor off)
But the strangest thing is the performance is good and there a no problems with the games and benchprograms.
When the problems happen : it,s not alone in a game , yesterday it happend in the desktop during surfing.
When I wait for 5 or 10 minutes I can start my computer again and everything works fine again.
Somethimes he crashes 2 times in a hour , the other time it takes a half a day till he crashes.
Specs: win 2000, all service packs
Xp 1800, Ecs a7s5a
350 watt power (HAD)
512 mb ramm
latest omega divers

it is could a faulty memchip on your card
Try lowering the memoryspeed of the card, if it stops crashing, you know it is... time for a RMA
if not.. time for a better PSU.. is my guess

PSU = power supply, hoewel 350w genoeg moet zijn is, een goedkope meestal niet in staat om voldoende 12v te leveren aan je G.kaart, zo duidelijk?

Ecs a7s5a, that board has known issues with high end cards like the 9800 pro
your not the first to have sever issues with it, i'd try in in another pc and see if it works ok, if not then i would send it in for warranty service...
