9500np and black screen

Hello,
I have just installed a 9500np and used the 3.10 omega drivers to softmod it. The mod appearantly worked because it shows up as a 9700 under the adapter tab. I have no checkerboarding at all, but if I try to run 3dmark03 or play any 3d related games I get a black screen. After I reset, I have this message:

"Computer restarted after an unexpected shutdown.
Microsoft Windows detected a possible device failure.

The driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing operation. Please check with the device manufacturer for a driver update.
The display driver for RADEON 9500 (Omege 2.5.04) seems to be responsible for the system instability."

I have disabled VPU recover, and also tried some of the older omega drivers. The same thing happens.

Any suggestions?
